Determinatoin of physical parameters alternative binary fuels on the basis of a "Biodiesel" and gas condensate

It is known [1], that at creation of new kinds of fuel and consideration of system “fuel - engines - operation” are possible two extreme cases of adaptation fuel to the engine. In one case under an existing design of the engine alternative fuel, on the physical and chemical properties close to traditional oil (for example, diesel) is created; in the other case - under the developed (suggested) alternative fuel the engine that it is much more difficult to solve practically as it demands rather significant scientific and technical efforts and material means is converted. In given article we shall stop on one of variants of creation of alternative binary fuel on the basis of a biodiesel engine (methyl ethers of fat acids rapseed oils - MERO) and a gas condensate. In a number of jobs [2,3] experimental data by definition of physical parameters MERO (biodiesel engine) and its mixes with gasoline, kerosene and diesel fuel (DF) are resulted. To the parameters rendering essential influence on processes of injection, evaporation, mixing and combustions, concern: density of fuel ρ, kinematic ν and dynamic µ viscosity, a superficial tension σ.

On the listed parameters the biodiesel engine (MERO) exceeds corresponding values of these sizes for diesel fuel (see the table). Therefore we had been undertook attempt to create such binary mixes of a biodiesel engine and traditional fuel which in the physical parameters came nearer to diesel fuel [3]. Thus gasoline and kerosene which have low values cetanic numbers - accordingly 8 and 20 mixed up with a biodiesel engine. Certainly, it allowed to receive for mixes ρ, ν and µ, close to diesel fuel, however thus was considerably reduced cetanic number - basic characteristic DF.
