Internal combustion engines (ICE) are the basic consumers fuels an oil origin which stocks in separate regions of the world are rather limited. If to this to add the ecological harm rendered to an environment by fulfilled gases ICE more and more attractive (economically justified), it is especial for Ukraine, there is an idea of application as liquid energy carriers for diesel engines alternative fuels from renewed sources to which first of all it is possible to attribute{relate} vegetable oils (rapseed, soya, sunflower, etc.). On the physical and chemical properties alternative fuel essentially differ from traditional diesel fuels, that influences as the organization of working process in the cylinder of the engine, and on its technical and economic parameters and ecological characteristics.

       In article results of a settlement - experimental research of working process of diesel engine SMD - 17Н (4ЧН12/14) are submitted at its work on pre-heated mixes of refined rapseed oils (RO) with diesel fuel (DF) and ethyl ethers of fat acids rapseed oils (EERO). Researches were spent according to subjects scientifically - research jobs of the thematic plan of the Ministry of Education and science of Ukraine.
