The analysis of parameters of work of diesel engines on oil and alternative phytogenic fuels

       The author of the submitted article has made attempt of generalization of results of application of biofuel for diesel engines [1,4,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,14]. It is necessary to note, that carrying out of the analysis is a little bit complicated, as not in all above-stated publications there is a necessary amount of the data on constructive, regime and adjusting parameters of examined diesel engines. An overall objective of the analysis is the rating of influence of physical and chemical parameters traditional and alternative топлив on fuel profitability and ecological characteristics of examined engines.

       The general conclusions:

  1. On the basis of the given publications and own calculations the analysis of effective parameters and ecological characteristics of diesel engines with various ways mixing is carried out at their job on operational modes with use of various kinds of fuel: diesel, vegetable oils, their mixes and a "biodiesel" (methyl ethers rapseed oil).
  2. The best effective к.п.д. It is observed on a prechamber diesel engine at its work on methyl ethers rapseed oils with the increased contents eruck acids.
  3. With high ηe occurs combustion of vegetable oils in a prechamber diesel engine and a diesel engine with half-divided chamber of combustion (such as ЦНИДИ). It is connected with features of mixing processes and combustions in the divided chamber: large-scale turbulence during compression, intensive hashing atomization fuel with air, presence of high-temperature surfaces of the chamber of combustion.
  4. Application of vegetable oils as fuel in high-turns diesel engines of low power at diameter of the cylinder less than 85 mm and with the unshared chamber of combustion is ineffective because of infringement of mixing processes and combustions.
  5. Application of vegetable oils in diesel engines with the unshared chamber of combustion is irrational because of increased smut сажеобразования in the chamber of the combustion, resulting to закоксовыванию nozzle apertures and to significant deterioration of cylinder-piston group.
  6. On the basis of experience of Germany, France, Austria and other countries of Europe, the most perspective is fuel a "biodiesel" (derivatives of vegetable oils) and its mixes with mineral oil.
  7. In conditions of Ukraine as alternative vegetable fuel methyl ethers of fat acids rapseed (or sunflower) oils and their binary mixes with mineral oil can be used.
  8. As biofuel application ethyl ethers of fat acids rapseed (sunflower) oils is possible, economic calculations and additional long usage tests of the given kind of fuel however are required.
